Flower Vase Making
One day ceramic workshop in April
Spring has arrived! In this beginner friendly workshop you will hand build a small flower vase around 6 inches tall. You will choose one of three studio glazes for your vase to be finished with.
Sisters Clay Collective will glaze your vase for you and send it through the kiln for a final glaze firing. You will pick up your vase filled with fresh flowers on a following Wednesday evening from 6-8pm at Sisters Clay Collective.

Beginning Handbuilding
6 week ceramics class - no experience needed
You will learn all the basics of building pottery with your hands and minimal tools. Handling and reusing clay, pinch pots, coil building, slab building, and glazing!
I love handbuilding because it is easier to start than learning on the wheel.
You will build things like bowls, vases, spoon rests, and catch all trays. Expect to walk away with 3-6 finished pieces.

This workshop is a relaxed exploration of shape and color. Without the pressure to create something specific, realistic, or perfect, we can discover new ways to create. No experience is necessary to attend - anyone with creative curiosity can enjoy this practice.

Paint a Pot
One day ceramic workshop in May
In this workshop, you will choose a pre-made ceramic item provided by Sisters Clay Collective to decorate yourself with underglaze designs.
This item will have already been through the first bisque firing. Items available are bowls, cups, and vases. Sisters Clay Collective will then apply a clear coat of glaze to your item and send it through the kiln for a final glaze firing, making it food safe and water tight.
You will pick up your finished item on a following Wednesday evening from 6-8pm while I am at Sisters Clay Collective.
